Friends of Whittleford Park

The Friends aim is to assist in improving and enhancing the green spaces of the locality known as Whittleford Park and Gorse Valley.

This may take the form of active ‘hands on’ involvement eg litter clearance days, allocation for funding to implement material improvements such as the provision of benches, and attendance at Management meetings at which major issues affecting the Park such as Balancing Lake extensions are discussed.

The group aims to represent the interests of people living in the areas of Camp Hill and Stockingford, and also other visitors to the Park

Membership is open to all who are interested in helping the group to achieve its aims and abide by the constitution. Members under 16 years of age will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult where necessary

The Friends of Whittleford Park meet every two months, on the last Wednesday of the month, at Stockingford Community Centre Everyone who has an interest in the Park is welcome to attend.
